Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is the first ISO 9001:2000 certified Engineering Institute of Andhra Pradesh. One of the premier self-financing Engineering colleges of Andhra Pradesh, the Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology, Hyderabad was established in 1979 with the noble mission of imparting value based technical education to students,helping them to attain self confidence,and serve the society above self, through continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of teaching, learning and associated processes. The Institute is affiliated to Osmania University and is also accredited by the AICTE.
The campus of Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is spread over an area of over 30 acres with a total constructed area of 4,45,467 sq. ft. The College receives a grant of Rs. 1.3 crores from the AICTE every year. Prof. I. Ramachandra Reddy, a renowned academician, is currently the Director of CBIT Hyderabad.
