Since its establishment in July 1976, B.K. School of Business Management has emerged as one of the eminent business schools in the country. The school's inception was an outcome of the recommendation of an expert committee and was aimed at providing high quality managerial talent for the growing Indian industry. Along with IIM-Ahmedabad, the school has been the leading provider of quality managers in the state of Gujarat.
In 1983, the school started an Evening Programme for practising professionals. This provided an ideal platform for the working executives to hone their managerial skills. Most importantly, this has allowed the school to continuously interact with the business world and has resulted in a rich confluence of first hand industrial experience with the academic world.
Over the years, B.K. School has easily adapted to the various changes in the business environment.The students have been trained by the best minds that are stalwarts in their respective fields. The year 2003 saw the introduction of the University examination system. This has allowed the school to be a part of a larger family, while retaining its own identity and inherent strengths.
