What is CART ?
  Retailers Association of India is   conducting the Common Admission Retail Test   (CART) on a national basis from 9th March 2009 till 30th May 2009   on staggered basis for admission to the RAI's   Postgraduate Program in Retail Management (PGPRM) offered in  17 institutes currently  RAI has t ied up with. The objective   of the test is to assess the candidate's aptitude for  retail management education, including   Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Consumer Comprehension.   
  
  The examination will be conducted at   over 32 centers spread across India
  RAI's Postgraduate Program in Retail   Management (PGPRM)
  Retailers Association of India (rai) is offering this   industry-allied 18-month Post-Graduate Programme in Retail Management (PGPRM)   from the academic year 2009 in chosen 17 best in class B-Schools across India.   The admission of students of rai's PGPRM will be done through the administration   of a Common Admission Retail Test (CART) planned to be conducted from 9th March   2009.
  The overall aim of the programme is to provide students with   a high level of knowledge and understanding of the concepts and processes   involved in retailing and to equip them with the necessary practical, research   and analytical skills necessary for a professional career in the retail trade or   an allied sector. The objective of the Post Graduate Programme in Retail   Management are: To develop knowledge of contemporary retail management issuses   at the strategic level.To describe and analyse the way retailing works,   specifically the key activities and relationships.To provide an academic   underpinning to the above through the application of retailing theory and   research. To develop retail specific knowledge resource for adoption by the   corporate retail sector.
  How to Apply 
  The   CART   application forms will be available at retail stores of rai member   organisations. The    application forms will also be   available at Career Launcher Centres, PT Education Centre and select branches of   Kotak Mahindra Bank from 1st March 2009. 
     
  CART 2009   Eligibility 
  Candidates applying for CART must hold a   bachelors degree of any statutory university with minimum 50% marks. Students   who are in their final year of bachelor's degree education may also apply.
