Will my bank give me an overdraft till I get on my feet?
That will depend entirely on your bank, but the chances are that they will. Be careful though, as overdraft charges can be expensive, and you may actually be better off with a loan - either from the same bank or from another loan provider. The good thing about having an overdraft of course is that it can take care of small unexpected expenses without you having to provide for them in advance, so make sure that your bank will offer you one that doesn't need to be pre-agreed.
